still gota take the tape of at sum point 2day!
got like a 1cm gap between the back drivers side arch nd the car thou :frown:

anyway sum pics: ive removed the tape now, im loving the look of it. ive taken a few pics of the gaps, gona fill them with sum black silicone i think, nd smooth it in.

o yea, i still got 2 bring the bumpers out so that the arches sit flush, screw the arches into the arch lining and screw the skirts into the bottom of the sills.

only just realised how much the car has changed since i had her bk in september!!

bought her for 350 quid:this is how it looked wen i got it, neva posted these up b4, i the 1st pic i ever posted in this thread was a few weeks after wen i had cleaned her up nd put new wheel trims nd mudflaps on.

the first time i cleaned it:

then before i put it off the road to try nd fix the bodywork, which i failed at doin lol

all that was before i started posting on here!
and now:

i cant belive how much its changed over the past 9 months or so. pretty much dun with it now, 4 a while anyway. just want an exhaust air filter and get it lowered, then im not gona botha doin much more to it after that, until a few years time wen i want to put a xr2i 8v or RST engine in it!

yea corse i have lol!! look: cleaned it like a month after i had it!

i just need a new filler cap now, coz the 1 i gt the O-ring has gone in it, and its leaking oil over the rocker cover, so im gona get a new 1 of those (any1 knw how much they cost??) would love a stainless 1 but they are 25 quid!! :shock:

then i wana paint the rocker cover yellow to match the brakes, the inlet manifold black, and the ford badge on the inlet manifold black and yellow, then put a black Si badge on the rocker cover.

i want yellow hoses aswell, does any1 knw if the xr2i samco coolant kit will fit this car??

I heard steam cleaning/power washing is bad but i wanna somehow clean the fiddly bits of mine

i used astonish engine degreaser, its cheap and pretty good stuff!

just squirted it on everywhere, used a brush too get all the crap off, then switched the engine on on rinsed it all off. and came out like that in the pic, which i think is pretty good considering what it was like b4.

u just gota be carefull that u dont directly spray water into the electrics!!
