Dragged it down to the garage after work...

Replaced rear wheel bearing, sounds alot better now
Looked at the brake cylinder, I dont think its actually leaking, but we'll see :look: but it looks a cunt to get off to change so I left it for now :lol:

Bled up all 4 corners, as I now have a one way valve thingy on a pipe which means I can do it on my own properly with less hassle! only do one corner at a time like....

Brakes are alot better! - Still think I'm gonna grab some MK3 Mondeo calipers from the scrappers, 300mm ST170 discs and grind the calipers down to fit behind the 15" steelies for some proper stoppage!!

Also used some sealant in some nice rusty looking holes around some of the door shuts :lol:
Going to re-paint all the door shuts at some point and then re roller the whole thing in one go to give it a better look!

Still need to sort the ARB mounting brackets

Need some longer rivets to rivet my bonnet scoop down properly on the back half of it, got a bolt in it to stop it from flipping up too much in the wind :crazi: then I can sealant it from the inside once its nice and tight

Clutch is being fitted next week now, along with swapping the tyres onto the remaining steelies.

Just found out that it doesnt like being flat out above 4500 revs :lol:
Touching just shy of 130 on the clock (so realistically 115-120)
Although IC was okay to touch afterwards, so the scoop is doing its job well!

Also did a 0-60 run with my gps... 10.4 seconds which was started on loose gravel and a slipping clutch :lol:

Pretty good, are you expecting under 10 secs in better circumstances?

I reckon the 0-30/40 will be more impressive with the torque kicking in, did a 0-60 on the van and when it was was filled with 9men and loads of leaflets it did a just short of 13secs lol, but with that most of the speed gaining was low down if you know what I mean.

I would like to say sub 10 seconds to 60 once the clutch and boost/fuelling it spot on, not that I'm arsed, like you say the torque gives it better pulling around various other speeds

Got sent the wrong clutch, i have a 228mm sat there and I need the 240mm kit.

So im currently demoted to driving around in a MK5 Fiesta 1.8 TDDI non intercooled electronic injection, electronic throttle bag of shite that revs after you take your foot off the pedal.. fucking hate electronic throttles! :lol:

Hoping this clutch turns up before the weekend!

Electronic pump. It the engine that was used in the later mk5 fiesta and mk1 focus before they introduced the proper tdci engines... its like a cross over, old endura lump with newer pump and shite. would need to be remapped :(

On another note, the bloke i bought a clutch from on ebay has just rang me to say he descrbied it wrong so sent me my money back... so im on a mega hunt not for a clutch..

My gearbox is an mtx75 box so AFAIK i could run an rs2000 clutch if i find one cheap enough
