Once you get the puma in if you get bored of it there are SS4's available for that as well

Just don't think its going to be very nice losing all that money on a car so soon, get some use out of it and I think the resale value will be better with a puma lump in.

Depends what you want from a car though? Did you like the ZS when you had it but just wanted more poke? as it's a fun car to drive and I know you enjoy fun cars more, but then you bought the audi for the space etc it had as you needed something bigger?

Sell ZS and Audi option.. What would you then buy? A new ST or something?

Cheapest option with spare cash floating would be ZS, as long as you could be happy with it for a little while and wouldn't end up spending more money on another car too soon.

lol stop mentioning the puma lumps! theyre rubbish, waaaaaay over rated (and over done)

if you were going to swap the engine for somethign other than another 1600, id go for either a 2.0 blacktop or a 2.0 duratec from the ST

both engine mounts are similar and its a good reliable hike in power from either (obviously the zetec for cheaper option less power and duratec for more expensive but more powerful, more work too though in regards of engine loom etc)

then just a case of money if your not too bothered about power, if you find a cheap puma conversion job lot for little more than a cheap low mileage 1.6 go for it, otherwise keep an eye out for a good 1.6

The idea is more power for little money, D-tec requires a lot of money and custom mounts, the gearbox etc etc. Too much stuff. I think it even requires management.

Puma lump is quick and easy, he cant cam the current engine as it'll probably die lol

Unfortunately sometimes the Puma lump is the sensible option
