Now then cunts. :lol:

Anyways, payday has arrived (well in a few hours) so I went eBay shopping!

Clutch Kit
Rear wheel bearing
Rear brake cylinder
Front disc & pads

And subaru style dummy scoop (which I shall be converting into a working scoop!)

So that on top of my Gmax 40mm suspension kit, wishbones, track rod ends, and decent tyres swapped over onto the steelies will make a decent motor :blahblah: :lolz:

Then it will get a new coat of matt black using a bigger roller (will look better)

All in time for FITP and the RR day ;)

i paid for new 3-4years ago on my old gti they wernt so cheap then :doh:

i know g-max arent the most highly rated suspension set ups in the world but honestly the chasis on the mk6 escort loves to be thrown about when lowered and stiffened up
you will defo need polybushes and you may want to make some camber adjustable arms again mate
(yeah iv read the threads i know you can do it ;) )

Polybushes will only be used if the ones on the car are fucked, otherwise it can stay as is :lol:
Adjustable arms will be made if I start eating tyres... Ive got a better way of making them now anyway ;)

I'm happy.

Had a "race" with a MK1 Focus TDCI - The 1.8 Endura direct injection lump (same as mine but with an ecu and better injection) they run 115bhp standard.

The Scrote keeps up with it perfectly fine!!

Which means I have to be running over my standard 90bhp :teehheee:

Anyways,
Replaced discs and pads last night, need bleeding up properly as they suck... but I still need to change the rear cylinder anyway (which I got sent 2 of instead of 1, so I'll swap them both :lol:)

Started measuring and cutting a hole in my bonnet to fit my "fake" bonnet vent
Grinder broke half way thru, so today I am driving around with a hole in my bonnet :lol:

Will finish that tonight!! - Cut the "fake" vent into a working vent and be a proper pikey and rivet it to the bonnet :lolz: :thumbsup: - it was that or stikaflex, and every time I use stikaflex I get it on EVERYTHING so I decided not to risk it this time!!

Just awaiting delivery of my 40mm gmax kit, which should be here shortly.. that will also get slapped into the beast this evening as long as I can get the rusty as fuck bolts un done on the front end!!

Will bash my CAT thru and fit that downpipe setup and remove the blowing one which has been leaking fumes into my air vents for the last 2 weeks making me ill :iagree: :lolz:

Will bang up some photos of all my fun when I get chance :)

Clutch is going on next week.. which will be fun, because the fuel and boost will be going back up ;)

Rolling road day will be amusing :halo:

Somebody remind me, why do I mod cars????

5 hours spent on the car tonight... one scoop, bled front brakes, fitted suspension.

All was fine up until the bolt snapped on the passenger side front, 3 hours spent on that alone :lol:

All bolted up now, minus the anti roll bar droplinks as escorts have a separate bit which bolts onto the suspension for them to bolt to... and i cant get them off my old shockers, so I have tied them up for now :lol:

Drives sooooooooooo much better! apart from I dragged half a field home with my low exhaust, need to change that asap!!

Pics tomorrow, bed time! work in 4 hours :red:

Exhaust is back on, it has the boring CAT tho... but lack of scraping around the roads and the blowing fumes in the car makes it worth while :lol:
Brakes are still an issue, think they require more bleeding up, but they do work!
