a big thanks to sjoyce for supplying me with the bits i have wanted for a while for a brilliant price. checked everything over today in the day light, and it all looks alright! was talking to insane about the shocks and the rubbers/dust covers need replacing. will be needing some new exhaust mounts too as they are a bit rusty. so ill source that lot and hopefully get my garage to fit the lot as i want a proper job, not some crappy DIY mechanic attempt by moi

cheers rob. another thing... noticed that when i start and turn off the ignition, there's a whistling noise that comes from the engine as it winds down... not sure if it's the starter motor?

right. where i left off last time was the whistling noise. figured out it was the fan belt, so gave it a little dabble of wd40 and boff... sorted for the time being.

im a lazy shite so HOPEFULLY next week i will be whipping the 'better conditioned' bonnet on with my new badge and putting the flaps on! this is if i can be arsed lol but i feel i need a good old update.

after this im ignoring the shitty insurance policy of 'no mods', putting the alloys on (once ive finished my refurb which so far has taken me the best part of 5 months), valve needs replacing like. and then my magnex cat back on since mine is blowing fingers crossed i get this done, if not, someone do me a favour and come and kill me. much love, ben
