well guys nearing xmas and all goodies coming along in the post to me

i got my brand new cossie caliper carriers from ebay , and they are lovely come complete wit brand new caliper bolt kit and rubbers

i got the bolts i needed to fit them cost me like £1.2o for 4 bolts and 16 washers,

also ive done wishbones so no more knocking , well one side other wishbone is in progress of being done but the bolt head rounded so welding socket in place so that i can get it undone

well cars been slowly progressing,

nearly sorted all the rusty sills ! sanded em primered em nd colour coded em bak to what they should be

then refit rs kit,

finally managed to removed rounded wishbone bolt so i did that and fitted the second wishbone ! cars soooooooo much betta now its unreal lol! no more knocking noises.

these came today in the post



my cossie discs for cossie brake setup ! thanks to phil for those lovely cheap calipers and thanks to ebay for supplyin me wit brand spankinly new carriers

ive painted carriers slowly nd calipers to match the red theme im goin wit,

atm im jst touching up all the details like , cam cover, drums, calipers ect, jst gettin em looking nice!

next ive gotta buy myself new tensioners as mine squeeking atm, then hopefully car alarm fitted along wit wiring up that damn electric pack that ive had sittin around for time lol

and then sand her down ready for full respray which im hoping in next month or two wil get done at my work

aubergine si looks wicked atm but i think it would look even more awesome gleaming wit wicked shine on it !

nt sure if im gonna get it done in the flat aubergine by ford or get maybe pearl or metallic extra put into lacquer to give it tht something extra ! but nuthin to bold something subtle! nt sure yet!!

originally was gonna get completely diff colour maybe go for metallic black but after decidin and lookin around i decide aubergine is the best fsi colour lol

for time being they should get fitted by weekend!! but as for braided hoses they will be fitted at later date! as i plan on redoin all brakes lines so i kno they all safe nd sound

just a little update for ya:

cossie brakes all fitted not without there problems tho.

first gettin alloys to fit ova them was nightmare. so those lovely lensos of mine are sold and hopefully thanks to russ i shall be replacin them wit team dynamics rims,

atm im running my oldish rims as they only rims i gt tht fit and after and experiemnt 17's would need alot of arch work lol

also bleed nipple on one caliper is stuck in ! so i wastn sure whether to get it out as it may brake ! but ive bled system best i could atm !!! pedal is equal put it on brake tester at work so thts good lol !!

also my cossie front bumper came ! nt sure on fogs it came wit may have to get some propa ones.

I'd get some proper fogs put in it eventually, but i really hate how they look without any.

looks like whoever cut the hole on the passenger side has done it a little to big

well heres a few pics of the cossie brakes behind my new wheels nice to hear peoples comments on the new wheels against the old





loving the cossie brakes so much better and stopping and have more confidence that i aint gonna hit up the a** of driver in front of me !!

cant wait to get the other things sorted now tho, i wanna get two new driveshafts, lsd gearbox, trim arch, fit cossie bumper and get spoiler (mondy one i think) and then cars ready for respray

drivers side as for some reason maybe it was replaced at some point but it sits further in so the wheel sometimes rubs on tht side but passenger side front arch is alot wider ! dunno if theres variations of wings or wat but its generally sittin in alot more


thats why when u look along body nsf wheels is in the arch, where the osf wheel is almost inline!!
