Part timer. Ive been flat out! I fell asleep at 8 last night due to how tired ive been lol I havent stopped.

Brakes should be fully sorted tomorrow!

Right you horrible lot, here you go.

Went to Danny's to try and get adjusters from another set of coilovers sorted, adjusters were wrong, decided to slam it anyway.

Didn't happen ended up snapping a bolt as it was being put back together. So Danny spent a lonnng time drilling.







Failed with removing it, took it to a garage the next day to get sorted, ended up finding out the thread was drilled by mistake, no big deal we sorted it.

New hub arrived today so that'll be fitted with my coilovers in a couple weeks,

Whilst doing the hub we found out the wheel wouldn't spin, turns out the pads we're knackered lol so I order new discs and pads.

Easy job normally, but the got damn caliper bolts on the side Danny didn't undo we're rusty and fubar, I had to put a 14mm on there to get the rust off lol which really isn't ideal as I had two attempts and gave up in case I badly rounded it off, I think the damage is already done though as we tried gunning it off yesterday and it didn't look good, will be at the garage again tomorrow to see what we can do. Been avoiding the brakes like crazy, turns out I haven't greased them up enough anyway as they are wearing uneven atm, will get that sorted tomorrow too.

in regards to the hub... is it usually a bolt going into a thread instead of the nut? like it is on an mk3?

should be sweet when its all sorted. just shit when its all niggly crap braking like that

Yeah no nut involved normally, this was our temporary fix, in theory its as good if not better, but had to shave a bit of the hub so not so brilliant,

Had to do the same with one on mine because my mate fucked the thread up by hitting the nut through with a hammer (i wasnt present).

Atleast youve found a replacement quickly anyway!

ZS's aren't worth much nowadays so everyones breaking them and I started a bidding war and someone did me next day posted for £15 total lol I can see parts being easy and cheap nowadays which is nice! Beats £40 odd quid for fog lights and stuff like that.

Washed the car with my new pressure washer the other day, so much easier than a damn hose. love it!

Also got given these for free, There from something that must not be named but they look rather comfy and are recaros so I thought why not! Just need some mk3.5 frames now to get them in,

I am working very hard on the wheels. I have all the bits coming as of tomorrow, its just getting the parts all in one place and getting them all fitted, Tyres will be no probs. Coilies I have to collect from an hour or so away, then get adjusters cut off, new ones have to arrive and get fitted and get someone to fit the coilies.

It'll all come together, i'm hoping by next week. 20th at the latest though as thats when my friend comes back from holiday (the reason I have to get the coilies from an hour away is they are at his garage as he was going to fit them lol)

All of that, suited and booted properly on the car should look amaaaaaaaazing.

21st is my first show so I need to get it done!
