Another Scrote day!!

Adjusted the actuator rod, boost peaks at around 17/18psi or so, which saves me having a gay unreliable boost controller.

Downpipe is blowing from the flexi, so will have to refit the MK6 downpipe.. I'll bash the inners out of the CAT before it goes back on.. this will also make my exhaust fit properly.. so that saves me going to the scrapyard for the mk5 system!

Needs front discs/pads quite badly now, I'm gonna go on the scrapyard hunt and upgrade to either 2.0ltr mondeo calipers or better and then buy new disc/pads for them.

Needs a rear wheel bearing and brake cylinder ASAP.

Need to pull my finger out and fit the wishbones that I have had for 3 months.

Need to piss about going to a tyre place to swap some tyres off my alloys onto the steelies, which I cant be arsed doing

Clutch is now slipping in 4th & 5th gear around 2.5k to 3k when the boost had opened up... I don't want to fix this, as it'll be a ballache and I really cannot be arsed.. Is it worth it!??

Somebody give me a MK3 or MK4 Diesel, I'll slap this engine in with new clutch and be happy

Clutch will be getting replaced.
Got a quote of £50 labour + clutch kit price.
Saves me doing it

Sounds awesome Paul Scrote power for the win

In true paul style, I did sweet F-ALL to the scrote this weekend other than diesel it up and drive!
Kindof regretting this due to the state of the discs, but I get paid friday...
This weekend will see:-
Discs/Pads - Standard escort ones as I can't be arsed finding some bigger calipers
Rear brake cylinder
Rear wheel bearing
Wishbones/track rod ends if I feel like I can be arsed
Clutch will be ordered, probably get that done within a few weeks, and blag him to swap my tyres over at the same time. They would just need balancing then.

Will be attacking it with the paint brush in the door shuts this evening, and maybe give it another coat elsewhere if I have enough paint!

Been thinking about the future of it... I'm going to try keep it going and do another MOT with it (November..) TBH under it, it isnt too bad.. it had a few patches done for the last MOT
The rust around the windscreen and behind the rubber seals in the doorshuts is a little bad, but its not structural so will clean it up and fiberglass it up!
Needs a windscreen for the MOT anyway, so will have fun watching the window guy fitting a new one in

I actually can't wait to get it up to standard and drive it knowing that something isnt going to drop off or throw me in a ditch

Realised the creaking while steering is actually the front suspension, most likely the top mounts.
I'm bidding on some suspension on ebay at the moment, and have a back up plan afterwards..
40mm gmax kit, as I'm sure my shocks have had it, and most likely the springs too, so would be rude not to!
