i'll let you all on why it's in the bodyshop, it's getting the bottom of the wing welded as it had rotted. Here lies the problem behind my sigh

The wing can't be plated normally, due to the rot, so i'm waiting on a bit for the bodyshop guys to recieve which is a pattern part which is a exact replica and is simply welded in. No Xr2i until thursday

Plus side, no rot on wing

At least you won't be able to kick the wing so it wobbles now

plus i have to consider what bodywork to do and not do

With the bodywork just do a little bit
at a time. That's what I have to try and do with what little
funds I have!

at least you don't have an xr/rs kit that hides mud and rots the car

but now its making a banging noise from the driverrs front when you hit a bump......

any ideas? wheels on tight, wishbone lookd ok.....

My first port of call would be the lower arm mate. Get that replaced and if it still does it then I would change the suspension leg

Jack it up mate and get a pry bar or bit of wood and put it under the incriminating wheel and slowly pry it up and down to recreate a bump. Then you can determine where the noise is

Could possibly be a top mount aswell as what has been sugested above

it was fine when i dropped it off, i picked it up and it started this noise.....

so it will be going back tomorrow, i'll get them to sort it.. but it has pissed me off........

try and sort the bloody car, and there is alwaysa spanner thrown in for me.........

i've upset someone.......

Some of the other techs beleive it's posibly jumped out of the runners

welding is pukker, just something has happened......
