hi m8 seen u in pf again. i think i have found a mk3 IB5 box to replace my injered 1.6 box do i have to use any of the IB5 clutch components or do i stick with the 1.6

just use your clutch that you have now, shouldnt be a problem

Also just use the thrust bearing thats on the IB5 box, again that will work with your clutch no probs

ive got some great incar footage going round Croft circuit , pushing an EVO 8 round the trcak, and eventually overtaking him on the exit to Sunny Out

My mate asked how he liked getting smoked by a Fiesta , and he just drove off in the huff :lol:

I wish I knew how to put it on you tube, its great footage

just read though all of this and its an amazing car

there a red xr2 who goes round near me he got the st170 engine on carbs or bodies and that thing flies i been told to put the st170 bottom end on mine think i may look in to it

is it that much of a hard swap from the 2.0 zetec

gave me some thoughts about my car as i want to make mine a track car

To swap the black top engine into the Fiesta, youll need to modify the engine mounting, and either add another pulley to get the pump to turn the correct direction, or get one from Area 6 which turns the opposite way, like th esilver top engine

If you can get the full St170 engine then put it in, as the head ports and valves are massive

what have you done with your head and cams from the engine before the st170 one have they been sold already or been used

already sold , and fitted into my mates Fiesta XR2, thats what Ive been doing the past couple of weeks in my spare time,
