well think its time for another update, i bought a K&N replacement filter for the car, and got a standard airbox for it to fit in, i just need to get them fitted, but i have decided to mod another bumper with a cold air feed to go for my new filter, so hopefully it was add a few more hp, as where the filter is atm is getting rather heatsoaked.

so here is the progress so far

not touched it in a while but the air feed is half fiberglassed into the bumper now, and abit more smoothing has happend, just need to do abit more smoothing and fiberglassing then i can get on with spraying it.

went to castle combe last weekend for the Ajec Action Day, had a brill day, was on the track twice, both in the moring, one at half 9 which was fun as the track was soaking, and went sideways everywhere, but the seciond session was good, but did get held up by a pleb in a scooby that wouldnt let me pass but got passed in the end :assassin:

full GTi6 engine and box, suspension lowered 50mm front 40mm rear, quickshift, and induction kit, but the filter will be getting changed, thats about it really then all the visual mods,

will be looking into getting a new clutch, lightened flywheel, and lightened pullys, rose jointed gear linkages, last time it was on the rollers it got 161.8bhp but its been run in abit more now so hopefully its closer to the 170bhp mark now,

Well just been tinkering with the car again, i bought some new adjustable gear linkages for my shed just fitted them and what a swine it was to get the old ones off, but finally did it soo much difference for the better, works well with the quick shift that is on there, so all in all a good buy

Next on the list is to get the tracking and balencing sorted and sort either the wishbones out or something in that region as ive got a random wheel wobble goin on, and i cant find why its happening so once that is sorted i can move on to rebuilding my new beam

no pics as it was getting dark and i was getting frustrated

Its gavanized :p so no rust but, i will let you into a little secret, there is rust on my car :O on the wing the bodyshop fitted from the 1st accident, which i have a wing here i need to spray and fit, but its goin in 2yrs getting a 4wd beast
