jam told me about the xr2i mate i think u should keep the xr2i get it done all good and enjoy it for a bit then sell it as a solid motor in maybe a year build up some ncb and then go for the rs i doubt it would need much more work if its running pretty well you have done some really good work so far i think you should keep it up would make a awesome project car

There are points a car reaches where its not worth the agg...the thing is..if its been bodged previously which has been stated it has..the rot is elsewhere now aswell. 2i's now are minters or mingers theres no middle ground like there was say 7 or 8 years ago..once its decended into mingerdom. the best and safest place for it is the bin.

Update!

My ex Bro in law came round and looked it over, so hes gonna weld it up, seam welds, roll cage and put in 130 1800 zetec running gear and use it for Fiesta Championships with his Dad

So its not going scrap it will live on to start racing from April next year

so it been saved

p.s the drivers side rear arch didn't look to bad, when i saw it yesterday, although the passenger side is different

has he taken it yet? the fiesta series is quality to watch saw it at lydden hill this year
