Yeah exactly that Dave! It does look pretty good and in all fairness it does aid the handling slightly - especially on track, but, it eats tyre inner edges. The joys of owning a modified car eh! lol

Its best to let it set before you sand it down, as you can sand it to the contours of whatever you are working on, it gives a better finish that way.

But its easy to do mate, i suggest you crack on and do them :P

SHES BACK ON THE ROAD!

After the last update of refurbishing the wheels and painting other bits, a few more things have been done.

She went into the body shop to get the rear turret welded up, and while it was there the rear arch which was REALLY bad got sorted out. While there it went to the garage up the road for an MOT, which it failed. Nothing too bad, wheel bearing, rear cylinder and side light bulbs.

Soooo did all of that, with a misshap of the wheel bearing, but it got sorted.

Took her to the MOT test station today for a quick retest and a brake bleed because the one man bleeding kit is useless, and it was all good!

So good to be driving it again! I shall get some pics up of the recent goings on tomorrow at some point :)

Well the drum looks pretty much perfect, the bearing races are mega shagged, as is the hub nut. I think the nut and the bearing races took most of the damage.

The hub nut as you know has a flat face on the rear where it pushes against the bearing... well not anymore :lol:
