it is horrible, at first i thought it was the engine mounts not alligning everthing up properly but it turned out to be a combination of the teeth being worn down on the drive shaft and gearbox, the driveshaft got replaced but it was too late and the damage was done

I fear i may need to replace my exhaust, i drove today and i could here a slight blowing sound so i just peered my head under and the mid section looks vry rusty, anyone know how much for an exhaust? Well hopefully just the middle section or maybe it all bar the backbox so its done. Just before mot aswel . . .

looked at the exhause and for some reason its just this bit thats bad between the clips:

sort it out lou lol
jus get that bit changed

i few years back i picked up a standard 16v Si exhaust for £30

cheap, can i replace just that little bit?

it looks like a sleeve so you should be able to get one (if it is a sleeve) for prob about a fiver

Just buy my centre pipe!

So the purple looks like black which looks green which looks blue . . . And red looks red lol

so at last the gearbox is in . . . but with the feckin exhaust being the way it iv not been able to give it a proper trial run, so here is how my day panned out starting with me need ing to do a bodge up on the exhaust as that rotton pipe (shown earlier in the thread) give up and the exhaust dropped very low and basically looked like this :

So after much pulling over and adjusting I eventually arrived at Darrens for the fitting of the gear box



And the box was fitted so BIG thanks to Darren and his sisters boyfriend for all the work done but i couldnt enjoy the new box because the bloody exhaust giving me shit, it sounds like a tractor and im now partially deaf lol This is what i had to drive with:

Could try, I don't have any scales to weigh it for a courier thats the problem with me and Jimbo as well with the backbox.
If you know anyone going to ford fair who's near you and can drop it round let me know, if not after my holiday and probably FF.. I'll sort out getting hold of something to weigh these parts and courier them. See what you can do.

wey the box is in now get a julbal (SP) clip *2 and a bit off pipe inside them with zorst past and clap it down that should pass mot like that
