Started making rear axle spacers, out of 15mm mild steel, see how the turn out!

On the look out now for a zetec s rear bumper but there soo hard to get or else someone wants 100 quid for one!!

Gonna get the wing sorted and the front bumper re laquered

also thinking about german style plates for the fez... any thoughts?

You can probably get away with german plates being in ireland!

Between then and August i fitted
Rear three tints... replaced all windows as i got them free!
Phase2 black dash
Ford Racing Puma Alcantara steering wheel
Ghia Door handles
Fitted my 12" enclosed Fli Sub
Added remainder of Zs instrument panels
Fitted front Silverstone blue Zetec s seats... better back support and look better!
Cat-back exhaust system
Stripped the headlights and painted the chrome to a satin black
Unfortunatley i never had the camera ready for those bits!

Sourced a rear Zs bumper for 20 quid... although it was cut out for a tow hitch and was kinked...

As i was getting the rear bumper sorted i got the front redone as the laquer started to chip off being due to cheap crap!
Local motorfactors misshaps again... wrong shade of moondust unfortunatley but thats at its worse... i believe i was given the ghia colour as its a touch darker because theres black stone chip shield stuff mixed into the paint!.. so im led to believe!

Had to chuck these babies in! Not the crappy blue l.e.ds you see the vag boys using
There just bright white!


Anyway as i was getting the bits painted up it was for the Trip over to Ford Fair

Next day after camping outside holyhead, had to call into oulton park in chester, Race testing was on for a variety of different classes, Weather was amazing!

Before we headed into the campsite we took a spin into silverstone to check out if we could drive around , Amazingly huge! so much going on between a huge cycling race, motorbike track day, porsche challenge, fiesta rally school, skid pans etc. Oh and the headquarters for the GT academy

1.7 Lump, shame we didnt convoy there and back with the rest of the lads from zsocIreland,
Dave got a few track sessions under his belt at Silverstone

Not much happened after Ford Fair with the car, I bought part worn Toyo Proxes T1rs for 40 pounds... not much used on them so fitted them to my rs2000s as the tyres that were on them were bald and going in the wrong directions haha... so dangerous! hence why i fitted the zs alloys for the trip.... plod wouldnt be happy

The friday before Rsoc National Day we all had a bitta fiddling to be done with the cars







Also a big change went on over the weekend with a mates van

And what it was like when was first bought

What was done to the van was respray my old Bumpers, fit my old ph2 zetec s grill, use the fiestas old shocks and as his van ones were fudged with a mates set of gmax 60 mill lowering springs, fitted a spoiler, blacken out the headlights wired up the fogs, various stickers to his taste and threw on my other mates bandys....
Unfortunatley they were not balanced right so settled on my phase 2s to finish


The morning of Rsoc National day we headed up to meet another mate up in the Curragh.... Just to let you know weve all been good mates even before the mk5 fetish!
