The car is running again, turns out the alarm weren't working but ive had a fiddle and got a new battery and its working now very loud!! Lets see them try it again now!

Saw fuel coming out by the rail which was great had lost a bit of fuel, thankfully Rob found it was just the hose was dodgy and not a proper fuel line so popped over to the auto factors and picked some up and thanks to Rob who put it on and for Adam putting up with my pissed offness over the phone, wasn't in the best of moods today

Well its on the way i suppose!

Soon as i have my door and bootlid i have to find a way to tackle the rust, and im not sure if i could do a god enough job by myself, do you know anyone who could treat it mate?

When i get some time off next week hopefully with some dry weather will jack it up and have a look at the underneath, see if i can clear it up and check the exhaust mountings, unless the sound im hearing is not the exhaust vibrating against bottom of car more the death rattle as you call it?

seemed only to do it at certain Rpm and under power though so im guessing it might be loose down there

underneath, jack it up and hammerite away

nice car mole think u should keep it a little tidy up and it will be a cracking motor, also i'd get a steering lock for it as a extra deterrent to prevent pikey scum doing it again

i had a look over it yesterday

its not to bad, a bit of rust on the rear arches and the bottom of the pasenger side a pillar and a scab or two on the sunroof but it sounds sick with a standard exhaust

i'm hoping its just stem seals that are causing it to smoke, but if its rings its moles call i told him that

its actually completely standard!

Yeah I'm hoping it's just stem seals as the engine is strong, if it's worse I would just chuck it but it's having an impact on me already and I might end up getting another engine

you know my view

have a door and a boot you can have FOC mate, would need to collect though!!
