This looks very good mate loving the tidying up Id keep the original alloys personally they look great but apart from that awesome

good work there buddy

fitted the poly bushes that i got for the mk4 today, the front ones only for now

they were a little bit different, didnt have a sort of grove to them, a curved recess, but they seem to have fitted fine in the clamps
its very clean under the arch linings, very little rust and that is only serface rust at best, very chuffed with this car, the lower arms appear recent, along with the track rod ends and all gaiters :Q

can you spot it?

then gave it another wash and wax, then a t-cut as the paints quite scratched in places
got too dark but heres one of the bonnet reflection, thanks to the otherhalf for the help

a BOOLbus update

some LED white side light bulbs, just need to remove the main bulb relay as its just working against my efforts





they aint as blue as they look in the pics

similar efforts on the rear, some 180degree 24 led stop and tails






now im happy with how the lighting is ,, next :aviator:

first bit me and matt tackled, after poncing around we realised i had the wrong colour, though it was petrol blue, was a completely different shade, was more of a navy blue, the car is more of a midnight blue

so after a trip to a specialist and £13 for one can later, i had the right shade, checked using a chart agaisnt two seperate parts of the car myself

flap disced the bubble back, some filler and then primed painted and laquered, flatting it in fetween, i ran out of time yesterday, still needs more flatting with 1200 wet and dry and then another t-cut, the white you see is t-cut int he fine grooves were the bubble was



in between drying i fitted my previous Si crossover as i think the K&N banana's are bollocks, they do more harm than good and look even worse
done the underneath in foil tape, and it works a treat car is more responsive now


and a few things arrived in the post :Q

I hacked mine so my parking lights are where the indicators are... i don't know if it's legal but it looks nice
