Bit of an update! My car is running stupid quick! i mean frigging stupid...Had a play with the timing on sunday morning...inlet cam was out three teeth and exhaust one!!! :shock:

how the hell it still ran i dont know :doh:

but all fixed :thumbsup:

so im damn happy.

heres a couple more pics:

engine after: (Rocker cover was meant to be hammered effect but screwed up so changing it again - no change there tho a :insanity:

)

And this is why i cant fit my cossie bumper:

after doing the timing tho i took Elward out for a spin to show him the diffrence...frigging throttle cable snapped :banghead:

and my local motor factor don't stock them so wrapped the wire through a nut and bolt for now till i can get down the scrappy to get one. Works fine tho so happy days.lol

well that lip is there for ground effect you know..so it being nice and close to the tarmac means its doing its job :lol:

has it still got the Kent cams in..or have they long since gone? i know how they might have been out...we found it when we did the swap....at some point the aux drive pulley had been gunned up in the wrong place and has a slot about 3x wider than it should be...we couldnt get another at the time and the car was needed..it was a guestimate..it turned over twice without hitting anything and it was left for the time being till another pulley could be sourced....i dont think it ever got done :rolleyes:
