Had a busy day today, fitting my arch kit (thanks to happypaul and FuriousFiesta).

It has been a lot harder than i thought it would be, but it is definately worth the effort.

Nowhere near finished yet, still have to fit the piece of arch to the door and a whole load of filling/ painting to do.

Pics give you an idea though:

I used some tips from fiesta guides on how to fit the kit to a 5 door.

Just dread having to fill the gaps that you can see.

Will get more pics up when i make some more progress.

Also, providing i get the other one off, I should have a pair of front arch spats that i took off if someone wants them. Free to collect or i will bring them to a meet?

done a really good job there mate keep it up :thumbsup: :) i'd give the sills and arches a good hammeriteing before final fit of the kit to keep the rust away :)

Thanks for comments, I havent done much on the fiesta today because of the weather :x

Took the other arch spat off and got another drill bit :rolleyes:

Instead i have used the time to tidy my shed and take my rear axle out of my front room and put it in the shed :lolz:

Will get up nice and early tomorrow and carry on with it

Havent done much today tbh,

Fitted the arches etc to the other side which looks a lot better.

Also started taking off my plastic inner arches on the front as my wheels are rubbing.

Will give it a good clean and hammerite then put the kit on for final fit tomorrow :chill: It's really filthy at the moment :cry:

Also relocated my K+N to directly next to my cold air feed. Wasn't easy but i'm happy with the results :nerd:

Only issue is I have no oil breather as such, I have taken the sponge filter out of the old box and put it into the hose, then used duck tape to hold it in. I have NOT blocked the pipe off.

Can anyone recommend an oil breather that i can purchase :?
The K+N filter i have is for a Vauxhall Astra 02 plate so has nowhere for the pipe etc.
