keep cracking on

well shes alive again!!! it was the bit that the oil filter screws into and it also goes into the oil pump it had screwed itself out a little so when we put the new filter on it hadn't sealed properly... so that sorted and she fired straight away (well after a jump stupid sub!) so tomorrow the front suspension is goin on so il get a pic of that for you guys.

the suspensions on and god dont it make a difference to the handling!!! my old shocks and springs were shagged so these have really made the car feel more planted through the corners. they still need to settle though as they have just been put on but heres a couple of pics just so you can see the difference from before and after!

lookin good there mate

seen you had an issue with the oil filter , are you using a CVH oil filter as thats a bit smaller , and gives clearance for the chassis leg on the car. If you use the zetec filter with the 2.o litre engine ita a bit too close to the leg, and it will clip it when you accelrate( the 2.o litre oil pump sits a bit different from the 1.6/1.8)

good luck with th efuture mods , should go well with the cams, management and headwork, my old engine seen 188 bhp with similar spec

just got myself a set of mk5 phase 2 Zetec S alloys at the minute im spraying them panther black, will get some pics of them when they are done and on the car.

also got a bloke making me piece up for my 4-1 manifold so hopefully that will be on very soon!!

i'l also get some pics of the car now the suspension has settled a little more, looks really nice from the front with the laguna splitter

well i've got the Zetec S alloys sprayed and on the car. I really like the way its looking now just need to get round to sprayin and fitting the xr2i sideskirts and arches i've got.

anyways i got them beed blasted as it would have took me weeks to prep by hand! so after that i primered them and gave them a lick of paint and laque. also did the centre caps black and painted the Ford bit red, which i think make them look really nice with the red calipers. anyways heres some pics.

can someone help me please i've got a OBX manifold and the downpipe doesn't seem to fit it hits the sump and where it connects to the manifold theres a 5mm gap on the back bolt. is there any other downpipes i could get or even a spacer to go between the manifold and head to step it out a little??

thats the manifold and downpipe!

You can get a 8mm flange, so that will space it out, but you'll need another gasket to go in between.
