if i keep the discs i cant get bigger calipers under as it just fits under the wheels as i is also with them calipers being smaller has made a grove half way into the disc

how much for some st or cossie brakes what they go for

biggest giveaway will be the size of wheel. if they are 15s then they will be 285mm discs max as thats about the biggest you can get under there. the grooves in the discs look suspiciously like the ones in the brakes i bought for my project which are hi spec ones. however it looks alot like thats a standard calliper on a big disc.. while you have the same amount of leverage as the calliper is further away from the centre line. you still have the same amount of pad in contact with the disc. while it looks good its not really ideal as its still a smaller pad area and with aggressive use the smaller area will heat up and possibly overheat quicker.

personally id find a set of more suitably sized callipers. but thats my take on it. :)

Sounds good mate! 8-) What engine are you putting in?

What insurance group are you with? I'm looking for insurance for a 2.0ltr fez atm and am trying to find the best company.

Cheers 8-)

bit of a set back took the engine out as we found the downpipe went to differnt side of the sump but then we checked the old engine and found the blades of the water pump so engine is now back out and waiting till tomorrow to go get a new water pump and doing timing belt aswell while it is off

only downside of doing conversions/work at night you dont seem to notice everything as lighting is not always great lol
