just thought i would update on the minimal progress i have made. good news is shes finally being re-sprayed this coming week for show at weekend, and i have fitted my front AVO coilovers i picked up in the week, rears rubed on the tyre so i still have the Gmax shocks on, but i have ordered a set of hubcentric spacers so i can get the rears fitted and reap the benifits.
i have also started to collect parts fitting the 2.0, so far i have an RS1800 inlet, throtte body, ECU and MAF. Im looking everywhere for a decent diesel gearbox and the 2.0 itself. but i do have all the sevrive parts and a new water pump. Now i have to find a non-pas steering rack and collum, as i want to go a bit more direct and save the power the PAS nicks for the car. and i am playing with the idea of stripping the car now, even tho i said i wouldnt do it until i had a rollcage and buckets.
Oh the decisions, ill get some picks up next week when the car has been re-sprayed.

thats pretty cool. it needs more work to get it really shiny, but theres great potiental. ive been offered a pretty cool engine for good money so im going to do some heavy saving and hopefully the car is going to quite a bit quicker sooner than planned. i need brakes (front and rear) and braided lines, spacers for my rear wheels, poly bushes, and then i should be ready for the engine conversion, if i finally make a decision on a gearbox. so hopefully 2-3months time i should have everything together and there should be some serious mods going on. then afer that i have to fit another ARB to the back and start striping the interior and caging the car. im aiming to have the car pretty much done for next years show season and im going to get to as many as possible.

thanks guys, im currently looking for a set of clears for the back (if neone has a set for sale) as i want to make clear indicator rears, see if it breaks the back up a bit better. and i have just bought an RS rear spoiler as i wasnt happy with the finish i got spraying the rubber spolier. im also bidding on a cossie style front bib spoiler which im looking at getting covered in carbon fibre.
and i havnt been pulled with my black rears yet, on the number plates, which is suprising really as the back now has no reflectors and the lights are really dim.

im finally putting the 2.0 in, ive found an engine that will do for now (it has 152000 miles but is sweet) i have my HO manifold and ive now got a new water pump, cambelt kit, oil and filters and gasket set. and im picking up a set of st150 brakes thursdsay night. so hopefully ill have so good pictures for you all soon  .
and ive just booked a second respray as im not happy with the black, so my car will be a 2.0 mercury grey Si but the end of october. god knows what the dvla think im doing as i have only just changed the colour now im going to have to change the colour again and engine size.

Should be good with the 2.0ltr in

Silver does look awesome, but that black with the white wheels looks mint IMO

yeah i was driving to get my st150 brakes, what were you driving i didnt see any other fiestas. ive been looking into mercury grey because the plan is to fit a carbon roof and escos style splitter and i think carbon and the dark grey will look ace, mercury grey is very close to black.
and ive order some new wheels today, 15x7 1/2 banded mondeo steels. there going to be my winter/track wheels, power coated black. i cant wait to get them. im im stuck on tyres tho, should i get uniroyal rain sports, proxes T1_r, the new proxes T4R, yokohama prada spec-2s or continential sport contacts?

cool, it does stand out a bit, i just need a 2.0 now to get it to go a bit quicker. i fitted my ST150 brakes this weekend, they really fill the wheels, and the brakes are so much better, you just have to touch the brakes and it nearly does stoppie. and i polybushed my rear arb, just have to get my wheel spacers so i can get the rear coilovers fitted and then polly bush the rear beam pivots and top suspension bushes.
there mk6 rs2000 wheels that i had power coated, its a much better finish. banded steels soon tho, i cant wait :D
so pics of the brakes and rear arb.

my wheels are filthy, i washed the car after the pic was taken.
the 2.0 hasnt been fitted yet but i will be fitting it next weekend, i just ran out of money. another update soon
