funly enough i wasnt doing anything wrong

i was coming down a duel carrige way near me...in the pouring rain when a guy in a vectra had the rong
lane coming to the roundabout, he cut me up so i had to brake quite hard... after he moved i went to turn the roundabout
then realising that the car was sliding i tryed pumping the brakes hard and pretty much everything ut managed to slide straight
into the roundabout at 35mph...it was a HARD hit as it stopped in half a metre from 30.... i cant move my arms much but thats about it.

i bent... both shocks, the lower arms, the drop links, smashed a steelie, bent the brake disc, broke 2 engine mounts, smashed my focus manifoild, destroyed the alternator, cracked sump, bent driveshaft and i think thats it..

no bodywork damage as car was just high enough to clear bumper.

i mean if id been goin a bit fast or being a c0ck i wudent have minded...would be my fault.
but i dident really do nout wrong. if i hadent have slammed brakes first time round
i wuda hit the back of the vectra...im thinking i wuda prefered thatnow

at least your ok fella, could of been a whole lot worse. the guy in the vectra stop? i know he is not directly at fault, but he started the whole chain of events

its possibly worth repairing, you have avo coilovers to replace the bent shocks, try area six's website for replacment lower arms as they do the adjustable camber ones for £120. those wil also improve the handling no end

the drop links shouldnt be too expensive to change, & as for the smashed steelie, werent you fitting alloys?

after alot of hard labour i got it fixed...nothings too bad.. trackings a bit out.
ill get some pics of the new look... I LOVE IT

and im soooo happy!!

only thing left is the tracking..and with all the replacements.. only totalling £100
not including wheels and coilovers then its not bad and it is better than before
