Cheers mate. I'll have to do an update soon. Most is on facebook in my pics, then I just copy it all over when I feel there is enough to update the thread with :lol:

To be completely honest, not a lot has been done, windows have been fitted, skirts and arches have been dug out from 3 years storage under my bed :lol:

, underseal has been applied and some other little bits and bobs, not loads if im honest, but I havent had the time to do it all yet. I think perhaps this weekend if I get some free time I will crack on with it

No not yet mate, when I get paid from work I will pop down to the body shop and see if they can just source one and put it in, if they can ill make sure its solid before it goes in.

But yes, now I have a job again, the car should be on the road pretty soon. I tell you what, I cannot wait to get back behind the wheel and just boot it down the M27 lol

Sup guys. Thought I would update my thread as its long over due. Some of you will have seen what I have been upto on the world of facebook.

So what I have been doing recently is just getting rid of the little rust underneath the car that there is, and a fair bit of painting and some under sealing and generally cleaning up the car.

I shall let the pics do the talking. Enjoy.

Sanding down process of the wheels began:

Then came the curb marks:

Then came the filler:

So then it was time to get the garage ready for spraying:

Then the painting process began:

First few layers of paint:

After a fair few layers of paint, and then lacquer, i moved onto the spoiler, strut brace and roof strips. Dont worry, we will come back to the wheels later

Peek-a-boob:

Yep, thats a colour coded strut brace! Wanted to be different:

Back to the wheels! Dont worry about the tyres, new ones are coming:

While it was in the air, i couldnt resist to see a trial fit:

New tyres came today, they didnt get fitted though, the mobile fitter let me down but hes coming at 9am tomorrow to do them, so not all is bad!

Didnt do much else today, just a few little jobs here. One thing I did do when I finished todays deeds was install the inxx gas bonnet struts.

I did make a few moe holes than needed... lol. But im sure I can sort that out at a later date

At first I was in two minds about them, but I think I like them now.

Just a quick pic from my phone, will get some decent ones tomorrow.

Few pics of the wheels on, oh and a couple of the spoiler, plus some camber!

If you havent seen on facebook today, I had some random kid ask too look at my car and asked if i was selling it, i said yeah Â£5,000 and you can have it, so he went and asked his mum for Â£5,000 and she said no :lol:

Anyway, back to the update of today!

The spoiler has got a slight orange peel effect going on, which I shall be honest, sucks slightly because it doesnt reflect as well as the paint work on the car, but im still happy with it which is the main thing!

Sporting the smooth euro-ish look here:

Gotta love a bit of camber! I really NEED to make some adjustable lower arms :lol:
