not really an update, just letting everyone know im not dead (yet) and neither is the fezz, after the last update i left it for a while cause i was getting a little tired of doing her up (shame on me i know), a change in circumstances has'nt help, drove the ST in to the back of a bus on the motorway (i was being a twat), so had to buy, 2 headlights, 2 wings, bonnet, frontpanel, tried to get the same colour but its slightly off so will need sprayed, also lost my job! (not casue of this though)

and then this happend!

i was changing the brakes on the the ST, well trying to, one of the calipers didnt want to come off, feck this i thinks to meself, nipped round the back to the fezz and started to put the rubbers back on the doors, tidied her up inside (tools, loom, doorhandles and cards all in there), sat my arse into the wingbacks, as soon as i did that, BANG, i realised i MUST get her finished.

so im now pleased to announce, my motovation is BACK!

well, got the inlet/exhaust manifolds bolts



so got round to fitting both manifolds

















to complete the enine i need:

timing belt tensioner (there's a bit of "play" in the 1 i have)

TPS

EGR blanking pins/plugs


slowly slowly catchy monkey

the rad slots into to slots on the panel behind the rad, does actually attach directly to it

He never brings me a cat!

strange wonder if the slots are only available on the Si, i'm not sure how the normal Mk3's fan attaches to the rad

terry, had a look at your thread, page 12, from what i can see from your pics (after you painted your fan shroud) i appear to have a part missing missing on the left hand side of me rad (if u were in the engine bay), is this the side the fan should clip onto?

im sure me dad could easily fabricate something if needed be

the fan slots into the bottom panel and then it screwed to the slam panel on top. be easy enough to make a small bracket to hold it in bottom anyway

my pickup was 1.1 before and that had the same slots
