Well seeing as the bell crust that is Meilack has guessed on facebook i have got a second hand accessory bought, got to collect it thursday

Milltek Cat Back Exhaust and De-cat pipe

Also have in my possession a Chipex repair kit to try for the front of the car in Performance Blue

Im in 2 minds, the De-cat would have to be changed at MOT, and it will set the MIL light on in the car afte 200 odd miles because of lack of cat, although im told it will run ok still and i could put it on until i get a sports cat and downpipe?

As said 2 minds, will get pics up when i get some progress

Yeah whack it on, you can get sleeves that trick the ECU and you won't get the EML

Bet it will sounds great with an exhaust though!

Think i would have to give the insurance company a call to see if they would cover a De-cat

And need to find another gasket, hmm do i bother lol

Don't think they would as its not a road legal mod.

Would be best maybe sticking with a sports cat as there not too different from a de-cat. Or getting a cat shape put over the exhaust so it looks like theres a car, when its really some pipe going through the cat shape lol

A cat is there purely for emissions as far as I was aware.

Why not ask Sky Insurance on here They can give you a definitive reason - in fact they probably answer the question so many times that have a document they simply copy and past from as a reply
