Proposition and plans stand like this for those wondering:

Run XR2i until MOT runs out 19th December then:

A workmate when firt buying the car offered to take it off me for welding work etc, i will let him look at the rot, if he wants it (the whole car) he has first dibs

If not

Engine/Gearbox and wiring loom sold whole to Robs cousin (local to me so will take engine straight out) soz dude
Dashboard will also be dropped out possibly
And obv paul you will be welcome to purchase the steering rack :lol:

Anything not bought/saved will go in the scrap bin for scrap money

I have to weld it though, and i dont know how to, so i have to pay someone to weld it all up

And it needs Both sills, ear sills, 2 rear arches, fuel filler will need doing soon and the rear valance

How much will having all that done cost? anyone?

Thats why i got impression from Rob to chuck in the towel with it unless i want to spend in the thousands in it :doh:

It would be good if i could do all the welding but i cant, might know someone but it still not free

Unless anyone wants the task? and buy it from me?

I'd give anyone the opportunity to do so rather than put it for scrap
