Not managed to update for a while, lack of PC, internet access, and generally being arsed.

But here you go...

One lovely morning my timing belt went on the TD engine at around 45mph, no point in repairing tbh, too much hassle. So went and bought a full RS2000 conversion.

One decked 1.9D Berlingo.


Had some fun fitting it, took my time over it and had some niggles.. but basically here are the photos, they speak for themselves. (and yes, I ran over the bonnet while it was on the grass, I didn't see it)

Van handles fine, although it's too low.

Balljoint popped out of my modified wishbone last night and pulled my shaft out, so now need to make some new wishbones as I have realised my mistake.

it wil be around 155-160 i think!

I'd imagine around 150bhp, but I want to get rid of the hollow cat as it makes too much of a tinny sound.
Can't raise the van as the rear is either decked or standard, no in between.
Not bothering with a new bonnet. Only panels I am changing are the rear doors cause mine are fucked.

Gonna try fix if on Saturday, just getting a little pissed off with having to repair things all the time now. That and spending money on it...

well after new doors and replacing wishbone bush it should be good to roll? bonnet adds to the appeal!

i want a ride in this @ sixfields as it sounds nuts!

Doors can wait for now, In no rush, wishbones are the major factor at the moment.. it was driving awesome with 10mm adjustment in the balljoint, no stupid camber problems. Hopefully get it back on the road saturday anyway.

Its also got a typical shit fuel gauge problem like all fords, which is annoying.

Got new wishbones and droplinks now.

Will be fitting them saturday, need to buy a new jack as I snapped mine (its had 3 years of abuse)

Wanted to find a 10mm hole saw to drill out the wishbones to enlarge the holes but it looks like I am gonna have to use a file, drill bits don't do the job too well. Grr, the things I have to do to make things safe!!!

Gonna attempt to fit the mk3.5 fiesta coilovers up front while its in bits too!

Also, want to remove the flyeyeskit stuff from the front spots, wire them up properly with a relay and then fit some spots to the underside of the roof rack, get some proper bright lights on this bad boy. Along with fogs, as every cunt can drive around with them now thanks to the DRL's on most cars.

So this weekend I spent a few hours repairing the fuck up.

Made some new adjustable wishbones.
Fitted new droplinks.
And the awesome idea of fitting MK3.5 Fiesta Coilovers to a MK6 Escort van...

Here are a few pictures...








No other pictures showing ride height... passenger coilover grub screw is stuck, and its facing to the inside of the arch so need to drop it off to get to it, only got an inch left of adjustment on the drivers side, and still have a fingers worth of arch gap

Also realised that my driveshaft is indeed damaged from the incident last week, so I shall replace that while doing the coilover.

So the jobs to do before sixfields are:

1) Driveshaft swap
2) Coilover grub screw & ride height
3) Weld rear suspension mount, as its broke loose from the van, ideally needs replacing and new bolts but its fucked, so welding it up
4) Adjust the rear beam, as its on the piss and scrubs one wheel

Ideally I want to swap the rear doors, as mine are bent and fucked and rattle too much, but that depends when I can be arsed to get them from the scrapyard.

Want to fit front fogs, and wire up both sets of spots, just to be a cunt.
