Well steering rack will be changed soon but me and mole did the following on Friday.... (cheers pal ;) )

Plugs had done 6000ish miles

- Changed Oil & Filter
- Changed Spark Plugs
- Re-Heatwrapped Crossover

Damage is its broken down as injectors won't fire :( rac came out and there is fuel and spark but no injectors lol

More detailed breakdown of recent events........

Car was playing up wednesday - cut out at lights and took a few goes to get going again - weird in my book as it is spot on usually.....

Thursday - drove to darts fine - left darts and it cut out and wouldn't start - if you touched throttle it died - then was fine and drove home fine - albeit when i floored it in a temper it was chucking out plumes of fuel smoke :doh:

Sunday - drove from mine to heathrow fine - drove from heathrow to blackwater - spot on....... left blackwater and at traffic lights it died. nothing..... (made me popular with traffic....... :lol: )

Pushed it in to Aldi carpark and rang terry - cheers chap 8-) who advised usual check for spark and fuel.

RAC arrive on my dad's breakdown cover - has spark, has fuel, cps is working, cam sensor working - both confused :lol: tested injectors for electrical current..........nothing :cry:

Initial diagnosis is either the kms fuel ecu has failed - or as alex has advised :thumbsup: - communication between the management and fuel ecu has done a bunk :|

Ringing lee at Devil's today to see if there is a warranty on the fuel ecu........and if there is somehow get it to littlehampton.

considered breaking the bugger for 10 mins yesterday :cry:

just got off phone with lee - luckily the fuel ecu has warranty

he's asked me to check the fuses then go from there :)

although getting it 90 miles without engine power will be fun :lol:
