ok, yes a bit big but some pictures need to be big so you can see the detail :hsugh: aka i cudnt be arsed resizing!

basically ive fitted most standard stuff back on, fitted an mk5 sunroof, and a light where the seal hasnt gone!

some pictures are of the engine, inlet etc.

my other front coilover is sorted :) just the other to do, bought a set of needle files to re do the threads myself lol, time consuming but cheaper. all i need is a bearing and some washers then there going on!

slammeddddd! danny, theres two pics among them that im unsure about. one is the plug in the back of the HO inlet, where the wires have been cut? will that be in the loom im getting?

andddddd the metal thing im pointing at where it has snapped, the thing you said was for the starter motor i think?

and the thing where the ht leads are going into, theres only one screw attaching it, any idea on what size i need for them?

just bought myself a dremmel too to attack any small scabs of rust i have and sort the kurbing in my wheels :)

The plug is for inlet air temp sensor. You'll probably have one on the loom yes. If not, I might have one somewhere :)

The plate isnt snapped, its made like that so you can get it out/off without taking the flywheel off.

The coilpack (thing the ht leads go into) screw - do you need to know about ones bolting it to the bracket, or ones bolting the bracket to the engine?
- Coilpack to bracket = M4 x 40mm I think... i'll check on that.
- Coilpack bracket to engine = M8 x 15mm I think.

^^ Both are similar to that, lengths may be wrong. Cant remember when I last took any notice of what bolts they was  If you need any, I might have some spare laying around that I can post to you ;)

bracket to engine, thought it was the coilpack! where do i look for the engine mount too buddy? have bugger all clue what an engine mount looks like tbh.

that would be very kind of you! need washers too for the coilies, u said m12 didnt u danny? cudnt find any in B&Q.... motor factors it is. if the lengths are wrongs (which i assume u mean too long) i can just cut down cnt i? but would be very kind of you to do that buddy!

I'll have a look in my garage tomorrow and see if the bolts for my coilpack bracket on my old engine are any good and if they are I'll nick them off that for you. I know for a fact one is rounded off, but I think 2 of them are all good.

M10 for the washers, I've only got M12's. In all fairness, I dont think the washer will make a massssssssssssssive difference if its 10 or 12mm... If I can find some 10mm washers I'll post you some with the coilpack bolts, if not, i'll chuck in some 12mm ones which you can either use or just keep spare or something. I have about 500 of the buggers

You can cut the bolts down yeah :)

Engine mounts - basically one is on the rear of the engine, and one on the front...

Front looks like something like this this:

http://www.fiestaguides.co.uk/images/en ... ig/299.jpg

Which bolts to this on the engine:

http://www.fiestaguides.co.uk/images/en ... ig/296.jpg

Which then another part of it all bolts to the chassis.

Rear engine mount looks something like this:

http://www.fiestaguides.co.uk/images/en ... ig/199.jpg

Which bolts to this:

http://www.fiestaguides.co.uk/images/en ... ig/158.jpg

For that there is a bolt (17 of 19mm) in the arch which bolts that to the chassis..

All the info and pics are on fiestaguides for a 2 litre conversion if you need to see any pics quickly :)

Did Tom? say he would include the mounts with the engine?

Yeah even 1 more will be good to hold it in place. I'm sure you could find an escort or something down a scrappy and take one of that if you need it. I'll see what I've got tomorrow and let you know

Steelies + coilovers = win.

I wanted to do that, but my front brakes wouldnt allow it unless they are 15" steelies :(

Don't worry about returning favours Ben, im not cock hungy like Terry, Sam or Adam

just went to fords to get two replacement bearings for the suspension tops... 5.48 plus VAT each... ouch

on another note saw the new rs in the auto trader mag in there, looks the tits! very similar but the front end looks almosst like the new mondeos and the rims seem identical to the current rs.
