you can get good quality generic bolts, nuts and washers etc from garden centres

Can you really? High tensile and/or stainless or just normal ones? Might pop down to somewhere like B&Q and see what they charge you for them lol

well they were strong stainless ones, cants say if they were high tensile or not, the one i went to wasnt B&Q and didnt have much info on the price tags, but were like .40p per bolt and 10p per washer etc

i used them and nyloc nuts to bolt the arb to my mk4 beam

For some reason I wouldn't feel safe using a 40p bolt, that's just me personally. Unless of course its come from a reputable source.

Usually on the head it will give a reading of the tensile strength of the bolt, you wanna be looking at 8.8 minimum for pretty much anything really.

ill keep my eye out for that, was going to say b and q or somewhere... will have a look around, the garage close to me who are landrover specialists, sorced some nyloc nuts for my bumper and gripped what was left of the stud on the bumper lol, very good quality so might go see what they have... i know it will be sound if its getting used on a landrover bitchessssss

oh yeahhh. 24th ill be getting it along with the engine (and hopefully the loom, ecu and brakes!) then early march im going to get the box from sam, and hopefully buying some lights of the orange prick since im bored of my tinted ones. danny, you up north anytime soon or in the future?...

I'm not sure that ERST brakes do fit the fez mate, I've not seen it done before. I'll whack a thread on fiestaturbo for you and ask to see if anyone knows.

Otherwise, try look at getting these tried and tested setups if possible...

Min 14" wheels:

- Escort RS2000 (Mk5, Mk5b, Mk6)

Min 15" wheels:

- Cosworth 4x4 or Granada V6 Cosworth (Mk3)
- Mondeo V6 (Mk1 and Mk2) or Scorpio V6 Cosworth
- Fiesta ST150

Min 16" wheels:

- Focus ST170

Need any info on them setups, i'll grab it for you

yeah was thinking that myself! the bloke im picking the inlet stuff off said his mate had some to sell, he might have a 1,6 loom for me too

but yeah the st150 brakes is what ill probably go for!
