Chris, I need a mk5 zs fuel sender out the tank, from a car that had the digital dials.

Danny, I had 2 sets of lockwoods, white ones went yellow, silver ones were fine. Not arsed tho as I don't want Lockwoods.

Just won some zs digital clocks for 5er on eBay so once I sort out the stuff to make the fuel gauge work I'll fit them.

What Paul said, my White ones in my old black Si went yellow/brown. Guess the sun colours it, maybe your cars not parked in direct sunlight all the time like mine used to be out the front of my old house.

Lol, the mk4 dials I have look good tbh, and are better than the set of mk3 ones that were in it.

Mk5 ones are awesome due to the digital speedo IMO.

Not a chance in hell I'll attempt mk6 ones, they are Ecu controlled.

Mk4 and 5 look loads better then mk3 especially mk3 with black background. Like dials from the 80's

But it's not though, it's a car from the mid 90's and should of had White dials from the off set. It's a sport injection after all, surely that qualifies for White dials.

Chris, the ones with the digital trip computer.. the speedo needle is run from the vss sensor instead of a cable, much more accurate.

Danny, weren't too bad.. wiring is easy, need to trim bottom of clocks and dash opening, although need to make 2 brackets for the top 2 screw holes... which I haven't got round to doing.. but the cowling holds it in good enough.

I also need a low washer fluid sensor for the mk5 clocks ;-)

Is the Speedo cable controlled still?

I like early early mk3 dials. The needles are not pointed at the ends. Just chunky. Like on f-h plates.

All fiestas up to the mk5 digital clock were cable controlled.

I'll be upgrading to them once I have the right bits.

I do like the older mk3 clocks, but most have been fucked about with and are about as accurate as..
