Will I need a 1.6si one or one from a 2.0 mondeo?

yeah it's failed by the looks of it now.
it's now had majority of parts replaced so as it's started munching fuel I'm going to get a different lambda on it and see how it goes.
I reckon it's over/under reading the exhaust fumes as the ECU seemed to screw over the other 2.0 maf when it ws changed (causing it to stall a lot) put the newer maf on it no more stalling 4-5 days later it starts eating petrol.

trial and error so far.
last Friday it had spark plugs/leads/belts/fluids done so it getting narrower as to whats left

jus had a thought the ICV does that one need to be changed for. a mondy one or is the 1.6 one ok to leave on?
I know that the ICV is a decent 1.6 (off my red si which had no idle issues) and the one I removed was also a 1.6 ICV (same part number)
I don't think I've seen anywhere that that needs changing though, could be wrong ;)

ISCV should be fine, my si is running a good 1.6 ISCV and Lambda sensor and it was running fine when Jamie took it, have never changed it on any of my conversions never been a problem :)

well I've found a lambda sensor that does the early mk1(and some other fords) and also does the mk3 fiesta (incl 1.6si)
so will probably give that a try.

car would be ok just the fuel munching is doing my head in.

news travels fast where I live.
people only just found out I'm getting a new car and I've had someone round here to put an offer on my fiesta
it's tempting but I love the damn thing so much.

cool I think that's another issue with it ;)
it's getting there sounds so much/runs so much better. just need it to be perfect.

jimbo yeah they are quite nice. can't wait to get it remapoed + exhaust + filter done hopefully push it just over 200bhp then later on cams + another remap 225+ HP with any luck.
although ideally would prefer to up the torque dramatically.

update on this. Not a good one either :(

some little twunt has tried to get into the car and jacked the door edge in by the lock.
Will show pictures later of the damage. I'm hoping I can get it back with a rubber mallet.
I'll take a hit on the price for it though which isn't a bother to me as long as it stays on the road.

Little bastards, atleast they didnt steal it, luckily mk3.5's are harder to get un than mk3s as they have a plate behind the lock.

My partner locked her keys in her corsa and her uncle showed me how easy that was to break into.

lmao you can show me that at sixfields lou!

and thats shit news. i kind of know how it feels to get little bastards abusing my car. i reckon yuo could knock it back with a mallet easy, just make sure you have something solid behind it so you dont dent it in. or get a pro job but yeah, aeseholes, they will get whats coming to them.
