Would anyone help me with my history problem..

Would that be a good replacement to start one up? I've seen people selling them with stamps and stuff but thats a bit dodgy and untruthful. So could I use that? or would I be better off with a proprt Ford one.

So i'd like to thank you all for not buying my old fiesta battery as I just dumped that in the new one and its running again.

Was a diesel battery that was in there, too big for the tray! so at least now the battery fit in nice.
Just need to go out before bedtime to make sure its still going, if its in anyway dying/dead, then i'm not stupid :P its the alternator.

Also ^^^ that question still stands as well if you could help :)

I think that service book would be fine to start a new one, I don't think anybody would be bothered.

As mention keep an eye on it now but the battery may have solved the problem.

I Have fitted the K&N took an HOUR!! :( one screw.. Connecting the box to the MAF would not budge. ended up snapping the box but hey,

Bodged on with cable ties as I don't have a clue how else its going on there, got a bracket but it makes no sense to me, pics to come later and i'll show you all what I mean :lol:

Gonna go test it now... :D

long read but i got there in the end :P

as for the slam panel dont worry about it, get someone to pull it straight, you could use a sledge hammer or a group of men/ car with tow rope to pull it out, then have someone re-enforce it with a welded steel bar over the front or back of it to give it some strengthing
saying that, it isnt even a structual point on the car, all it does it tie the front together as long as its strong enough to prevent flex in the two chassis legs its fine, but if you leave it as it is, in the event of another head on collision it probably will fail to protect your radiator and engine

my starter started to play up on my mk4 not too long ago, i thought it was fucked arranged to get a replacement, then realised my battery terminals were covered in acid and werent makign a good connection!

usually is simple things with starters, they are actually rather bullet proof, most will outlast the car theyre fitted to, apart from jamming little can go wrong with a motor, the wiring ont he solenoid can go first in most situations

lovely car though mate, its very similar in many ways to my Si, even my grandad loaned me the money as yours did
