2ltr is on the cards after everything is dealt with. Bodywork etc needs attention first.

Although i got offered a blacktop 1.8 zetec last night with throttle bodies from my mate :devil:

Bodywork is a state at the moment thanks to some James blunts that decide to scrape and bang the damn car when it's parked up :doh:

Just need to save up for it to be done now :rolleyes:

but yes i'd get the body work sorted and secure it from rust then move onto the engine :thumbsup:

Yeah all things nice seemed to get ruined. Plus I have crap luck with cars anyway :doh:

Bodywork on yours is good enough though is it not?

I'm thinking of waxoiling the whole thing when the weather warms up :thumbsup:

the body work on mine is "ok" i'm not happy with a few bits so getting it seen too hopefully in the winter or next year sometime :thumbsup:

then its onto the engine, had alex try talk me into 400bhp! :lol:

I need to get a quote off my mate for how much he would do a full respray for and then I can get on and deal with the rust and dings etc :red:

i got a quote of Â£400 just to sort out the small bit of rust on the o/r arch so i told them where to go. always so much cheaper if you know the guy

been thinking for a week or so whether to keep my wheels or sell them on for something a little bit different :hmm:

saw a picture of my mates old wheels (Escort turbo wheels) and sort of want a set looking how they did. diamond cut with panther black inserts :drool:

not sure whether to take the plunge or just stick with my wheels at the moment as money is tight :doh:

anyway. pics.

my mates rs turbo with the wheels i was thinking of

and also my other mates orion turbo with the wheels unpainted :hmm:

any suggestions?

imo stick with the wheels you have, i think they'll look alot better and suit the Si more
