Update time!
Well, as usual, I was mad busy over the xmas break doing as much as I could on my car projects making to most of the time off, especially with it being few and far between nowerdays
Anyway, got stuck into the suspension on the runabout this time round, after picking up the parts from phil (fiestasiphil) back in November (Thanks very muich again mate

)
First off was to strip down the axle with ARB that he sold me, following which I de-rusted and sand blasted it to get all the rust off, along with the drums and back plates off my car and the ARB itsself
I also derusted and sandblasted the crossmember he sold me, and the brackets to fix the axle to the car, and the bolts that I was going to use to fit everything when done
I then gave everything two coats of hammerite for muchos protection, then built the back axle up with polybushes and new ARB brackets
I then fitted this to the car and fitted new rear brake cylinders and shoes as the others were just about ready to be replaced, and also fitted the front crossmember to finish off
I also did a few other bits and pieces, but see my other threads for these
Anyway, all I can say is the work was very much worth it as the car has been transformed! I thought it was a million times better when I first lowered it on spax springs and put it on the si steels, but it is in another league now! Just holds and holds like its on railway tracks! Absolutely love it!
Thanks again phil, and here are the pics of the various work:
