something to do with the gearbox is now had it wines on the way up though gear and screams on the way back down

ohwell i think i might try a 1.1 box for a laugh i know happy paul done it so they do fit so will try some short ratio stuff

will see how they are if not i will probly go back to 1.6 box but had a 1.2 box on my nova with 1.6 gte engine (some other bits cam and remap and even more) and that flew though the gears even with the limiter extended to about 9K needed it for 1st and 2nd gear as they was so short lol

changed my boxes over today went really well up to the point where i started it and then the clutch works oppersite to what it should when clutch pedal up clutch is released and pressed down its on so tomorrow gotta do it all over again to see whats wrong

after yesterday being pissed off thinking i would have to take the box back out i have sorted it in 5min

i lifted the clutch pedal like a tart witch made the cog on back of it spin round so it was back to front

so all sorted and working well 1st and 2nd are really short but i like that from traffic light see what i can suprise now

now im going to start striping it some more lose as much weight as i can and try and save for management and TBs and a manifold

and moved the can for oil catch higher as someone told me they work better in air so will try it out

i do like it and its alaugh but is alot of changing gears quickly off the lights

i do think i prefer it to my old box see what i think after a few days

when i have car set up again i will see what its like as its lacking a bit of power but still no zetec s can keep up so im still happy as there seems to be loads round here that think there it

finished early today and cause im liking the box at min thought i would do something to the car so i decided to carry on with the sound deadening so few pics of how far ive got need to get rid of all the left over tar but that car be left for another day

do one thing and anothers messes up today it was the fan belt would of got it fixxed but ordered wrong one in morning and didnt do it till to late so have to fit it tomorrow

fitted proper belt today but power steering pulley is acting up so going to get non-pas belt tomorrow and fit that and then look at getting a non pas rack

but i thought i would get grinder to back of the car today for a bit of weight loss and better areo

not to everyones like but i am happy with how its turned out



after doing this i went all the way round the bottom but forgot to take a picture and had bumper on before i relised

then i did same sort of thing to the bumper





not bad to say its done free hand impressed how well it looks been meaning to do it ages.
