Update:

New Gaitor, replacing the old rubbery one! I think this looks alot better




Manifold is starting to Feck me off now, as it had to be pasted up at the join with centre section, and with the blow at the gasket, i may just get a new one, ashley or something, as i know a new one won't be rusty, or have issues

Neighbours have started complaining again about my car in the mornings which i can probably understand but i cant do much about it, as i need it running for the heated rear screen to work, and can't reverse if i can't see!

well theres one when i just put the puma gearknob on, but i'll get a new pic of the old gaitor later

Well its quite loud, wakes people up in my house but i really can't do alot about it

just floor it in the morning after its warm a bit, wind em up properly looks nice, cant wait to see it again

Yeah its quite loud, but he doesnt understand old cars need to warm up

Also, i have to reverse out past my mum behind me and him next door if it was easier i would reverse onto the drive and just drive off

my cars odd, its loud at low revs as well as high, so i can't drive sensibly to get around it

And cheers Dooner, i'll take you out in it next time, it may have changed a bit by then (as discussed via pm's with onslack on an item i am keeping an eye on ) and i should get a bit of bodywork done in early november

my neighbours have never said anything so far with my warming the cossie up in the morning or at 10/11/12 at night

but its not that noisesy or loud either

And on a work morning everyone would be getting up at 7am i am guessing and i start mine at 6 40am, so its hardly a big deal

some people just like to have a moan as they have nothing better to do

looks really good, is this the same as the fiesta one as it looks pretty much the same glad the cars clean of rust underneath

my cars quiet as a mouse when idleing wont be for long tho as that exhaust is comming off! i just get funny looks when working on it in the dark at nite

Yeah it is a fiesta mk3 gear gaitor but it applies to the mk5/6 escort also

Yeah i could buy a standard exhaust and make it quieter but i like the noise to much

Small update:

Went to fix the seat with rob the other day, but the poles are missing where the hooks attatch to so rob re-wedged the bit of wood, and it sits properly now, and is not sagging (yet) but is a bit hard But its the passenger seat so not my problem

i see it the same way, long as i'm comfy and my seat works my passenger is the least of my worries.....but i do worry about becks' comfiness
