and well the manifold rob fitted was done on jack and axle stands

its a guy i met on the fstoc, he lives local!

ive said id help him do it, but wanted to check how hard i was going to be with limited tools as ive never worked on an st before

well if you can undo the engine mount and lower it on a jack it should be ok, just the manifold bolts can be an issachunt rob said getting the standard one off was worse then fitting the milltek one

i'll see if i can meet up with him and have a look round the car and see what we can do

would need to be over a weekend as i think he needs the car for work!

Was that one in reference to the Saxo VTS?

I have never said other wise in terms of raw performance the C2 is a step backwards, yet its is more refined, comfortable, safer etc.

Overall The C2 is the better car, but round a track the Saxo is the Faster (probably faster than an ST too, not checked so could be wrong).

You will find me and Adam have turned to sensible debate these days, he his just going backwards and clearing up the bits he didn't understand first time... I think.

yeah i've had 4 cvh engined cars, robs had about 12

cvh is a sweet engine imo, cheap to fix torquey, just a bit rattly

got paid more then expected for 2 weeks so that bodes well for plans at the end of october
