there is no doubting the liking, i would love one :)

just with trying to save for my own place a FRST maybe a bad idea :lolz:

with this new job if i carry on a decent pay rise rate ;) added to the fact that i only use my car at weekends now.........i could invest in a xr2i cvh/FRST/Xr3i project/show car and keep the st for normal duties.

This may also be just wishful thinking :lolz:

I'm stuck as i love the ST, really do. But the FRST image/badge/looks/respect is a different kind.

Here is my excuse.

That was at the time of my Fiesta to Saxo transition, to which at the time the plan was to maybe buy an ST later.

But between that post and the Saxo's demise (it lasted longer than expected) another car appeared to which was much cheaper to buy with very similar performance while being cheaper to tax and insure... I would have been a fool not too... buy a C2.

As I have proven before I have no loyality to any manufacturer and buy the best car for the job, eg bought a Focus rather than a C4...

Sometimes my point gets lost when I say look at none fords too, this is often dismissed as me as me saying buy french, when I really do mean look at the whole market, ignore badges and buy the best for your money.

And I leave Op alone as he scares me slightly!

Theres no harm in preferring a car manufacturor and spending abit more in the process. There is alot of tuning options within fords which i think draws people in.

Back to the previous discussion, get a FRST when it really suits you to get one, maybe a few years down the line when you can have it as a "toy" rather than instead of your ST, its just not practical as a daily drive tbh. Couldnt use mine as a daily drive.

In the meantime keep looking at pics and saving towards it, but mostly enjoy your ST, its a lovely car :thumbsup: :)

Update:

Booked in with Rob's new company he has started RML Automotive on the 15th November for......................................































Mot and a service :doh: :lolz:
Tax due at the end of november to :doh:

I would recomend Rob's company to local and not so local people as he know's his stuff and only charges £30 per hour labour :)

Also plans for exhaust are taking shape :) might not happen til early next year but it's still plans ;)
