Good weekend at ford fair car was faultless all weekend , really enjoyed my track time in the fiesta which could be my last time driving it

I had someone from Bristol have a serious look at the car and he's taken my number so we will see , but if it doesn't sell I may break the car which would be a real shame

The focus is growing arms and legs with what I want done as I knew it would do but hey ho I'll get there in the end mucho overtime coming up to pay for it all

I wish I was in a position to buy it lol.

Fiesta not sold yet, Im gonna put it into storage and wait till Ive driven the Focus first to make sure I like it, before readvertising the car again

Ive been doing some work to the Focus, not going to start another full rebuild thread, ill just put some pics up when ive made some good progress




Bonnet with Fiesta turbo vents fitted in, did this myself, quite chuffed with how it looks, bonnet vents will either be matt black or dipped carbon



Inside of the car all painted BMW Space Grey , looks amazing in the metal





Cage comes in 2 weeks, as well as the bronze polycarb windows, so plenty to be getting on with at the moment

To be perfectly honest, Im not too bothered, be great to take both cars to some events next year

Ive booked onto a track day at Oulton park on December 8th , and Im taking the Fiesta to that. New circuit for me, and whatever the weather will be Ill have tyres for all conditions, plus the Focus will only just be finished and first time out , Id rather be at Knockhill trying a few different things and checking as I go along throughout the day

Im going for a white ,black and anthracite theme, and have bought back lights , bumper lights and indicators all smoked


Fitted the aerocatches to the back bootlid, nitemare with the double skin, but look good fitted


Then decided to tackle the roof scoop, so made a cardboard templet , and measured everything out umpteen times before going ahead and doing the cut, quite a big hole in the roof, so was pretty nervous

The roof vents in 2 parts , so sealed in the first part of the scoop with the directional vents


Then fitted the top half to the roof of the car, and Im chuffed to bits with how it looks

one question, why did you use frst vents when you could have used larger vents to aid the cooling? or are the frst vents adequete?

its easier to buy a fiesta turbo bonnet, and a lot cheaper than the saff 4x4 bonnet with vents

i bought a bonnet of Tango at Ford Fair, and got him to cut it in half so i could get it in the car
