The 3 of the cars front & side (like in your sig) are very out of focus. Get the full pics and look at the rear end to see, might just be because they have lost quality being scaled down for facerape. But still, shouldnt matter much. Either way, the way I see it as they are a few more pics to add to the collection :)

i have altered the passengers bulb its sitting much better now and aims just like the drivers, should be better, its a learning curve really

on to other matters

refitting my four branch, as most know these are built for escorts,a d the hanger design is missing for the strut brace in the Si, so it rubs and sends all the vibrations through to the car and done my sweet cherry pie in

so i bought myself some early mini exhaust mounts and i was going to make my own hanger

using the standard holes

these are the exhaust clamps ive been using, theyre good apart from the fact they dont seal too good, you need to slap some sealer on the joins, but with the four branch one i aint going to, i know it will only come loose in time and the louder tone will be back so fuck it it aint that loud so it doesnt bother me, actually sounds nice
Image

after some wrestling with the four branch its back on, trimmed the heat shield, this is on only to hold the crossover pipe

then went for a spin to test it :)

after fitting, then removing and once again fitting the four branch, its such a good enhancement, not just because it has some good solid power, its the fact that it frees everything up, the car feels so much better unrestricted and smooth, when ever i buy a zetec engined car i will make fitting one of these one of my first mods to the engine

brilliant

remapping is harder on a zetec, you gotta have a chip made up to plug in to it permanently :(

if you get it done before i ever do, lemme know the price and where, id like it done to make the most of my mods :)

Update

went to check on my bonnet before work and had a nice surprise to find its finished :Q

fitted it after i fitted a badge and the vents, the pois really dont do it justice

Just get an aftermarket ECU or a pre-loaded chip if you really want to map it. Or make your own ecu.

why? all of that will cost more than it would to have a tuner make me a chip lol, a chip made around my engines mods, buying an after market ecu will still need mapping

Not really, you can buy or make an aftermarket ECU from £30-40 no problem. Map it yourself too, well, let the software do the work as thats what its there for. Then if you wanted you can change the map anywhere, you can. I say it as if its not hard, because its not, but I have done it with kit cars for years (mapped ecu's, and built a few too). Even so, anyone could do it.

Buying a chip from a tuner probably wont be that cheap, I mean, look how much superchips go for and thats just a random universal map too see outside the perameters and changes the timing of things to give you a better performance where as a normal map is loaded to give you the lowest possible emissions possible... with regards to getting a chip made, I expect you will literally just get the standard aftermarket map - which lets face it, if you tried hard enough, you could probably find it online somewhere, buy some bits and bobs online, make a chip yourself, bish bash bosh. Job done. Infact, later tonight or tomorrow, I will look into doing that lol.

But, look into getting a chip made if you really want to go down that route, I dont see the point yet, its not like the car needs it. Its basically standard apart from a manifold and an air filter correct? The ecu will cope with them changes no problem at all. Soon as you get serious, then do it... In all honesty, I would just get it on the rollers, make sure its running smoothly with a good A/F ratio, see the power output and if it is, leave it.
