she's getting hammerite loving to stop rust

done the battery tray and rear valance, so will do the front and at some point the underneath

do it makes the underside look so much better. I love it. she looks like a keeper.

Paint doesn't look in bad nick. Is it the original or has it been resprayed at some stage in the past?

I'm lucky as the rs had a full respray a couple of months before I bought it, looks awesome now! Still had the white stuff from rubbing it down behind the bumpers!

i doubt i would have the money for two complete arches

I'll need to do my arches at some stage. They were'nt as bad as I thought the would be, just bits of rust around the bodykit holes really. They were alot better than the si's arches were anyway!

Next time I do arches, I'm going to replace the whole rear panel. I must have spent about a million hours smoothing out the joints with filler and wet and dry

Its the salt on the roads in the winter that does the most damage really I think. Was on holiday in cornwall in june and noticed how many mint old cars there were down there, cars that you would expect just to be lumps of rust!

Shows how much the weather makes a difference!
