Ive been on the Fiesta turbo forum for some time and on here but never made a project thread so heres my project!

Hi all! Im new to the forum and thought id start a project thread...

Well heres the story, my dad bought his missus a fiesta to run around in. When i found out i was like gah just another fiesta. Then when he pulled up outside in the lowered fiesta with alloys i loved it! I bought the car off my dad after lots of nagging for £300 since my dad thought it would need lots of welding etc underneath. Took the car to my work and sent it up on a ramp and guess what! All the work had already been done and it was solid underneath. I was well chuffed.

Heres how she stands at the moment!

2.0 16v Zetec Phase 2 Mondy Engine sourced this from a local scrapyard for a good price.

Got down to some nitty gritty

Including - Exhaust backbox, Water Pump, Clutch, Cambelt kit, Oil Filter and Spark Plugs

Managed to get someone in my garage to swap me wheels They are Gti wheels that was on a van. God they were soooo mucky had not been washed in donkeys! T-Cut them and polished them up they didn't come up too bad.



Have got a xr2i Kit sat in my garage waiting to be sprayed im a bit weary of fitting it myself incase i get it wrong?? I was thinking about having a full re-spray and having the fitted then. What do you guys think? thanks scott.

Well a little update. Fitted my 2.0L Mondeo Throttle Body you wouldn't believe how much faster it goes im well impressed! Fitted a laguna splitter its a bit battered but still looks well imo. Fitted a snap off steering wheel (momo) will get pics soon. Also got a new alarm (Viper 480xV) with pager! Any more comments or suggestions?

Little Update here!! Sold the mondeo (to the scrap man!), some bits off it and my old wheels Heres how she looks with the new wheels bonnet lifed and a little wash



Now she looks nice but doesn't move. Gearbox decided to die yesterday or could possibly be the linkage will find out on monday. Got an LSD RSturbo box waiting to go in and an AP organic clutch with heavy duty cover and bearing is on the way Will update soon!

No clears for me thankyou! lol Car is half way through being smoothed and sprayed. Feast your eyes lol. Dont worry where theres filler its been all welded up. Cant wait to see her all done.

Got a vr6 splitter to go on her soon im still wondering what the best way to fit it would be... anyone got a guide. What can i do next to my super fez?? hmmmmm.

Got a little update for you guys soon.

Done V6 mondeo brakes on front 180mm (stops very well now )
Put bonnet back to normal (Didn't like look and got fed up of people saying bonnets open)
Bought a 4-2-1 ashley manifold thats now on (Got rid of egr and old 1600 manifold)
Got a new exhaust which is smaller and quieter (Other was too big imo)
Put in pop open rear windows (No more big seal round them )
Put on VR6 Splitter and got rid of fogs (Still unsure on looks)
Toyo T1Rs all round

Will get pics up when cars washed either tommorow or sunday. What site do you guys use for hosting pictures for free? Ill have a suprise when i show you the pic of what else ive bought also
