Had this near on two weeks now, bought it off some lad on fiestaturbo.com

Its fairly standard, apart from being lowered far too low on gmax shocks and springs, full stainless exhaust with no cat and the LED side repeaters, think thats it.

Plans were to fit the 2.0 im building for it, fit arches and skirts, get windows tinted, get some alloys for it, some rear lights, and leave it be, but im wanting a zetec s rear and a smooth tailgate for it now, and possibly a xr2i front bumper as it looks more suited to the shape of the mk3, the only reason i bought the Si was because its the easiest to drop a 2.0 in.

Is only done 57,000 miles, but there is a lot of dings, chips and rust on it which is a shame.

Today i set about grinding away the rust on the rear passenger arch, and took off the rear bumper and sorted under there aswell, and hammerite'd it all. Need to sort the front wing as it has a big hole in it, and re do the sills, hammerite and waxoyl them while they are still solid, the drivers side arch is mint, but the front valance will need some attention.

Did what i could and got bored, heres some pictures:

Washed it and polished it with meguiars...

Next plans are:

Get a paintless dent removal company out to remove all the dings ( about 10 - 15 in total all over it )

De rust both sills, hammerite and waxoyl them
De rust front valance, hammerite and waxoyl them
Do something with the hole in the front wing and protect it.

Temporarly spray the xr2i side skirts and arches, need to get them back into shape theyre a bit bent and one is starting to fall to bits on the inside by the bracket

Re fit the black lexus lights
Get the windows tinted
Get some new alloys

Then come february/march time, finish off the 2.0 and fit that in.

In the summer i will properly spray the 2i bodykit properly, then money permitting, get a new wing fitted, get a zetec s rear bumper and smooth tailgate with just a wiper.

Then ill be happy with it :)

Yeah, theres an awful lot of dings in it i think some old bat had it before the lad i got it off had it and used it for shopping, hence it being covered in the darn things, some tit has put two in it since ive had it at work, hence i now park between two spaces :x

Tailgate needs replacing anyway as you can see its a bit bubbly round the edges, more of an excuse to buy a smoothed one hey! Same with the bonnet, tis a bit scratched, but want a smoothed one anyway
:)

Should work out, its all money and time sort of thing :(

That exhaust sounds lovely, barks like a dog, pops and farts like a gooden, no CAT on it, theres on tiny box in towards the end and its got small backbox, stainless steel all the way through, its deafening if you go through a tunnel and drop the clutch and rev it :|     It sounds nice though, deep and grumbly, not raspy and farty like some prick in a 1.0 3 cylinder corsa with a Peco big bore 4 :look:

2.0 engine is being built.

Black wolfrace voodoos on the way, will be silver but will be getting them powdercoated black

2i skirts and arches will be back on, and laguna splitter too when i get a moment to myself and its a little warmer !

Ive got MOT till Agusut 2006, if it will pass one after that without serious wedge being spent on it im not sure of, it had 2 ball joints for the last MOT, so must be alright. Just getting it to pass with the 2.0 lump in
