Its weird going back to a smaller car and no boost I'll be back though

Anyway i gave the focus back fixed and picked up my little runaround

Its a New Fiesta Zetec S which is the Ti-Vct 1.6 engine petrol with 118bhp and puny torque lol

Its red with the full bodykit and 17 inch wheels added with some alloy pedals, tinted windows

But rather than 5k mileage limit i had on the foci insurance i have commuting added and 10k miles

£62 a month now to insure rather than £152

They taxed it for me for £120 for the year

It weighs less than a ton (970kg to be precise) so its about 140kg lighter than the older model

60 in 9.5 and tops 120, yet it averages 47mpg which is lots better than the focus

Looks very nice, its a massive improvemnt over the MK6.

I am right in thinking they are 1.6 16v? that means we can do a fair fiesta vs C2 comparison now

Just looking over the specs etc you can see its aimed more at economy than performance to be fair, low emissions, low insurance and high mpg at the expense of speed, I must say if I needed a more sensible car (not like the C2 is outragous) then I would actually look at that as a good option. More interestingly as a sensible option it actually better than a C2 VTR aswell so if I needed to 'downgrade' then a fiesta would be a better option than my current cars little brother.

To conclude I can't fault it, is a great car with good looks and actually has a place in the market it fits nicely, as all the figures line up well.

that is one of the only mk7's that i have seen that i actually like! it looks stunning really do like the inside of these tho, so unique and differnt unlike most ford dashboards that are very plain.

Looks ace that does mate! Really like the Mk7 zetec-s. I've read that the new fez handles really well, can't believe that it handles better than the focus

Bet its a really nice all rounder to drive, as well as being much cheaper

Looks alright. I bet they handle really well, and at such a light chassis weight, it's impressive. if they lump a nice 160ps engine them for the sporty hatchback then it may be quite nippy!

does it only have a 6k redline though?

i don't like the looks, especially the wheels, but i can appreciate it for what it can be with a few mods and such like
