Bit of an update, as above, got some new bits at weekend, new belt kit, lower crank seal, waterpump and new track rod ends. O/S track rod was buggered, steering had gone very light literally after I came off a bumpy road and just didn't feel right. Lifted the car up and it was shagged, so replaced the two on Saturday when we had half an hour clear weather. Took it "shit fit" on the Sunday for alignment and they made a right hash of it! Corrected the pulling to the left by putting the steering wheel to the right when going straight...£45 as well and they won't refund! So had it back on the alignment ramp at work and all seems to be better....for now. Needs a rear anti roll bar clamp as mine has snapped.....Also got an aluminium Zetec rocker cover as opposed to the naf plastic one, I heard some horror stories about the plastic ones getting fragile after constant heat of the engine, warping and never truly sealing correctly again so bought the ST cover. No oil as far as I can see on the head now and that's with two sheered rocker bolts hahaha. Will check spark plugs again at weekend for any fouling, but seems to be running sweet at the minute, dumped a bottle of "piston ring restore" in the engine, if it's going to go bang I thought I may as well see if it makes any improvement :L sold my MK5 as well, was quite weird seeing it being driven by someone else

Getting there slowly, brakes next month provided nothing else breaks (no pun intended) maybe an engine depending on how well it performs next month or two then bodywork hopefully, underseal the lot. We'll see yet
