As you know i've been working on my cambelt, waterpump and head (ported and polished) change lately...
started on the 21st of Decemeber we got the old head off (inlet, exhaust, thermo, dizzy, belts) all removed in day one to the block
heres my bro undoing head bolts

good that i changed it when i did!
day two we had several problems, all we basically got done was cleaning the block & pistons, swapping parts from the old head to the new, and bolting it on
the EGR proved to be a MOFO to remove, they all popped out nicely but one which threaded inside the manifold, it wouldn't come out so i stuck a bolt in it
took everything off the EGR including the cannister leaving a plug loose (taped), is this the right thing to do? or should i reattach the cannister?
also i noted the filth of my car
then it got postponed over christmas as i had been given the wrong cambelt (grr!)
resuming action yesterday (28th) we got waterpump swapped over timing all done and inlet/outlet all ready for todays testing.
unfortunately it didn't work, we had low compression in Cyl.4, we feared the worse bent valves, but were v.luckly to learn it was sticky valves and a couple of manuel turns of the engine sorted it out
now it's all back togeather, no pics unfortunately
still have the water leak, but im sure its the T-piece hose at the bottom of the rad, other than that i've not tested the head too much yet
will get pics soon, going to get it all checked out by Streetracers in the week to ensure it's all ok and to sort that damn EGR bolt
might also sort a de-cat out while im there
