I was looking for a Fiesta 1.6 Si for ages and there weren't many about so I then started to consider an escort as there were more around.

This is what I purchased. An N reg Ford Escort 1.8 Si for £1000.
Pics are from autotrader I will take pics when I collect it tomorrow.

I have photoshopped what I have planned appearance wise.
Paint calipers red and rear drums black
Lowered 30-40mm (Anyone suggest what suspension to get, i want dampers and springs)
Tinted windows?
And at some point when I got some more money a cat back exhaust system, not too big and not too loud.

looks good,been concidering 1 aswel, been looking for si and finding a good 1 is hard, there is moe's but looking for 1 in other colour still may buy moe's if cant be botherd waiting no more, but good car mate, dont have clue what available to put on escort, tays in nice escort tho

Cheers for comments. The colour is a darker black than the pics show, will get better pics up tomorrow. Yeah not sure what side skirts, i don't really want Gti ones tho as everyone puts them on. Although at the mo the only major mod will be to suspension, as money is tight.

I'm also gonna fit the same upper front grill as on Tay's, I think coz mines an earlier mk6 it came with a crappy grill.
