I cringe every time I see one of those knock-on wheel weights go on at tyre changes so i tried to get only stick on ones, succeeded so far as to getting 1 and 1 *cringe* knock-on on the back. Anyway, that's all well and good unless the following happens, any suggestions? New wheels is not and will not be an option

get the wheels balanced on the inside rather than the outside  as the outside has a raised lip doesnt it?

yeah, there's one weight clipped on to the back/inside too though and that one was put on there. Was wondering if the weight could go on the spoke, or back a little bit where the wheel isn't raised. |

nah you cant put weights on the spokes, it looks like the wheel has a raised bit where the weight is? EDIT where the sqiggly line is that looks raised up? why dont you get the weights put on the inner rim where the cross is?

Yeah that bit's raised. I was watching the computer thing when they were being balanced and the weight was needed on that side of the rim? 
Paul - the brakes fit fine if I'm not going anywhere

Cant you get the edge of the caliper machined down so there is enough gap?

Don't know anywhere that could do that, besides, it's about 5mm I need to find which is quite a bit

i used to work at a tyre place and you can set the balencer up to do all sorts includeing only balanceing the inside of the rim not many places will do it tho as they dont like playing around with the setting on the machine, infact half of them dont actually no how to lol. what paul said sounds a good idea!
